Reality of red number rumor
There is a rumor in Nepal and many people scared of red number or death call specially in Ncell Number. In the viral news which include that users are receiving calls from red number is danger for them or instant death. Nepal based giant telecom company ncell is really replying their customers. The rumor had spread out that the number comes in red color, you may get brain hemorrhage due to high frequency and some person died in Jhapa or Purba Nepal just receiving the calls.
What is Red Number or Killing Call?
Red number or death call rumor first appeared on April 13, 2007 in Pakistan, where they caused widespread panic and inspired a slew of ancillary rumors. In July 2004 a much simpler version of this hoax caused a minor outbreak of panic in Nigeria too. An example of the forwarded text message published on South Africa’s Independent Online news website.
