Important things to know about Qatar's new rules

As per the Qatar’s new rules implementation you don’t have to sign new contract anymore but the existing contracts will be continued as long as the employee want to continue in his company.
Expat worker who has got a new contract to work in Qatar can come back even after the next day, if he has met the other requirements like Qatar entry permit and visa.

Resigning from company before the contract period? For Limited contracts.
Well here is the important thing to be noted guys, if you are working in a company and suddenly you terminate the contract you will not be able to come back immediately after leaving country.  For example:  If you are hired for 2 years of contract and you resigned from your job before the contract period “suppose you resign 13 months of service” you will be banned to  come back for next 11 months.
NOTE:  Don’t sign the new contract; if you sign your contract term will be change

For Unlimited Contract or 5 Years Contract:
Please read carefully this is also a very important.  If your contract term is unlimited or 5 years you cannot come back Qatar before your contract expired. It is also similar to the Limited contract, if you have 5 years contracts after 2 years completion you terminate the contract and leave the country, you will be banned for next 3 years.  Those who completed their contract under the law can come back next day of leaving Qatar.  So we advise you to check your contract term and condition before resigning company. 

What will happen for the existing employees?
You don’t have to worry about your existing contract, your contract will be counted at the data you signed your contract.  If you are previously working in a company no need to sign new contract after implantation of the new law.

How to leave your company if you think your company violating labor law?
If you company violating the labor rules, you need to complain in Qatar Labor Court. If its proved Qatar labor authorities will take necessary action and will help you to find new employer.
 Remember, if your company forcing you to sign new contract after implementation of new labor law, complain to Qatar Labor authorities.
