Chinese arrested in Nepal with 44 million illegal notes

Metropolitan police crime division has arrested three Chinese nationals with foreign currency worth Rs 44 million from Kathmandu. 
Those smugglers carrying the illegal currency were cought at Nagdhunga check post at 2 am today. It was found that the Chinese were headed for Kerung in Rasuwa district in a tourist vehicle. 
It is informed the Chinese were carrying US dollar, Euro and Swiss franc. Police suspect the illegal currency is connected to gold smuggling cases. Today itself, police confiscated 15 kg of illegal gold brought from Kerung.  Published in Ekantipur Online
