Ranjit Ray said madhesh can be separated without UML
Amid the heat of Madhes protests and throttling of Nepalese economy by supplies disruption, the Indian envoy in Kathmandu, Ranjit Ray came out with a surprising statement. He said that India is not clear what Nepal wants.
He was right. In the same way, it is equally true that Nepal is not clear what India wants. Both countries claim to be friends from time immemorial but fail to understand each other. Time should have strengthened their friendship in true sense. But the trend of relationship over the free and enlightened period of modern epoch has belied the hope. It would be far better to live like good neighbors.
