Camera Flash can blind your baby for forever.

A frightening new story circulating online alleges that a 3-month-old was blinded by the flash of a camera pointed less than a foot from his face. 

There is a new story that is going viral online, a three month old boy was blinded in one year after a friend took a close up photo of the baby and the flash went off just ten inches from his face in china.

The baby’s parents noticed that there was something wrong with his vision and soon after the picture was taken, according to the Yahoo news originally translated news from the Chinese language People's Daily China.

Here are some interesting facts about newborn babies

1. As soon as a baby is born they can see, but they does not know what they is seeing.

2.They can see most clearly things that are around 20-35 cm from their eyes, such as your face when you holding them closely.

3. They can also see things that are further away, and might look at bright light.  And they may notice the movement of everything in their room, but people and things that are this far away will still be blurred for them.

4. At this age many babies have dark colored eyes.  Later as more pigment color is formed in the iris the eye may change in color.
