Tiger attacks man mercilessly.

Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department on Saturday ordered to kill a tiger in Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary after two persons had lost their lives in tiger attack in the region in last one week.

On Saturday, estate worker K Mahalakshmi, 30, fell prey to tiger attack while she was picking leaves in a tea estate in a Wayanad village, bordering Tamil Nadu. As panicky co-workers raised noise, the tiger abandoned the body.

On last Monday, a farmer living in a village near Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary was eaten by a tiger. The victim, S Bhaskaran, 62, was passing through a forest path to another village, when the tiger pounced on him.

Next day, remains of his body were found scattered in the forest. After reading the pug marks found in the region, forest officials had come to the conclusion that the animal was a tiger.
