Qatar to Nepal roaming call rate decreases by January

Nepal Telecom and Qatar based telecom Ooredoo have signed an agreement for making roaming call cheaper to call Nepal. As per agreement the roaming call in Nepal will cost cheaper rate than previews cost. First roaming call agreement was signed between the two countries was active since 2006. The interconnection was officially launched with the singing of the agreement. 






NT Managing Director Pradipraj Upadhya and Ooredoo’s CEO Khalid Al Mansauri signed the agreement in Qatar. The agreement will only take effect after January 2017. Recently the company has modified same tax rate agreement mentioned in a press released by company. This cheaper rate roaming facilities will only be available on Nepal telecom network.
