New rule Kafala system has been revised in Qatar

Kathmandu-28 New rules have been implemented for immigration workers in Qatar. The government of Qatar implemented new rule in Tuesday by revising its Kalafa system. The New Testament provides workers the more right and it is more intuitive system for workers.  Kalafa system is worldwide criticized and it is said that Kalafa system is modern slavery system. The government of Qatar announced new for all workers in Qatar mainly who are working on in under development 2022 world cup infrastructure. New sponsorship will regulate relation between company and employees. Last year the council of members approved new rules draft and sent to Amir for final approval. Even though upper body “Amir H.H” approved draft immediately but it is announced that new rules will only be implemented from 13th December. In Kafala system it was impossible to send even death body until company gives permission and changing company from one company to another company was not allowed until sponsor give NOC letter. As per new rules, any company workers who are working on fix term agreement can change the company after completion of fix term agreement period. Then new committee is made of it any company denies to provide vacation to their employees, the committee will respond within 3 days.
