Nepali worker dies in Qatar

Nepali worker dying in Qatar's for 2022 World Cup stadium construction.

Recently, there are more than 4 Lakhs of Nepali working in Qatar,  but some of them are working on under pressure.  A Nepali migrant worker died while working at the Al Wakra stadium which in under construction for 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
 Anil Kumar Pasma, 29 was hit by a water tanker while working at stadium site of October 22. Pasma’s company has stated that Pasma is the first Nepali to die in work related accident. He was out of sight of driver when he was struck, according the Kathmandu Post which was published in 11-11-2016.



The worker at the stadium was halted to investigate Pasma’s death, it is learnt.  There are more than 5000 workers are employed to build the stadium in the energy rich country that will accommodate 40000 people.
The statement further state that the company has undertaken further caution to prevent such accident in future at the stadium situated  15 km south of Capital Doha. Qatar is relying on a large workforce of Asian laborers to build stadium and related infrastructure for the first World Cup in the Middle East posted in Kathmandu post.
